General Notes
Products pages:
The “products” pages refer to all the pages that load
after clicking the “products” link in the top navigation bar. Once you have
clicked on one of the main categories ie. “Chairs”, “Desks and Tables”,
“Storage and Filing”, ”Accessories” or ”Screens and Partitions” on the right of
screen, the main page will change and show more refined categories. One you
have refined your search to a small enough range of furniture, the main page
will display that range in the form of thumbnails (small pictures) with a brief
description. If you click on any of the thumbnails, the full details of that
product will be displayed. The price of the product will be displayed as per
the default options. (Described in the default text)
If you wish to know the price of the product with
different options to the default, simply pull down the list of available
options under the appropriate heading and click the option you require. The
price will automatically change to reflect the price variation of the new
option you have chosen.
When choosing the colour, use the swatch button at the
bottom of the page to view the available colour options. When you have chosen a
colour, you must go back to the colour option section and choose that colour.
Once you have finished defining all the options for the product you can add the
customised item to an order or a quote.
General Notes:
Most small images (Thumbnails) can be enlarged by clicking on the image.

Glossary of terms:
Thumbnails –
Small pictures that can be enlarged by clicking on them.
Ergonomic – A chair feature that allows the chair back to
rake and the seat to tilt, independent of each other. This can be operated from
the seated position.
Corner workstation – An “L” shaped desk made primarily
for computer operation. Typically a corner workstation is approximately 1800mm
in both directions with an adjustable height keyboard platform in the center of
the “L”
Semi-Ergonomic – A chair feature that allows the chair
back to rake only (the seat does not tilt) This can be operated from the seated
position.
Gas Only – All our operators chairs that have a 5-star
base and castors (wheels) are gas height adjustable. “Gas Only” denotes that
this height adjustment is the only automatic adjustment available on this
chair. The back height and depth however can still be adjusted but with a knob
and not from the seated position.
Knee Tilt – A standard tilt on a chair generally pivots
from around the center of the seat. A knee tilt pivots from toward the front of
the seat. This prevents the front edge of the seat from levering upward and
instead allows the rear of the seat to sink as the chair is reclined.
D-ended – This denotes that the
ends of a table are rounded or bullet shaped.
Navigation bar – The list of links across the top of the
web site page that allows the user to visit other pages within the web site.
Default text – This is the exact detailed description of
a product held in our database before any details are changed by a user. If you
find the product you require, you will find a set of “default” details for it
already chosen. This allows us to give a price. As you change any of the
“default” details, the product becomes customised to your preferences and the
price changes accordingly.
Swatches – Swatches are colour/finish samples for you to
peruse online or order as required.
P.O.A. – Price on application.
Warranty – All of warranty periods warrant against
defects in workmanship or failure in normal or reasonable use. No other
warranties, express or implied, except as required by law. We warrant against
faulty materials except where materials were specified by client.
